As an accredited property specialist, Susan Proctor knows how to make deals happen. She can quickly interpret complex issues and explain them in a simple and outcome driven manner.
She knows no-one wants to hear a lawyer wax lyrical about how much they know, it is simply about what is relevant in getting to the result the client needs in a prompt and effective manner. This is what Susan delivers.
Susan has been recognised in Doyle's Guide as a Leading Property and Real Estate Lawyer in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. In April 2018, Proctor Legal was also recognised in Doyle's Guide as a recommended Law Firm in Real Estate and Property in the ACT after just six months of trading.
Susan specialises in strata developments and acts for both developers and owners corporations in different stages of a development. Susan is a member of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers and has consulted the ACT Government with respect to legislative reform in the mixed use strata space.
After 18 years at a large Canberra firm, including a number of years as Managing Partner, Susan has founded Proctor Legal. Proctor Legal is a boutique, specialist property firm focusing on commercial and residential transactions. Susan brings her own sense of innovation and creativity to what can (at times) be "tired" property structures, ensuring fresh ideas and new technologies are appropriately utilised to forge the best solution and outcome for our clients.
At Proctor Legal, we are constantly thinking about how we can improve on our service delivery by streamlining process and adapting smarter, more effective ways to transact.
